First off, excuse the photo quality and dodgy editing. Took a quick pic on my iPhone just for today!
October favourites for my body are a tan/moisturiser combo. Bondi Sands is HUGE at the moment in Australia. I apply it and think 'omg I'm so bad at this I'm going to be sooo streaky'... but once you leave it on for the desired time (between 1-6 hours) and wash it off, it's seriously like getting a salon tan and has never streaked on me even though I'm the biggest ammeter. I've never been a fake tan person, girls at my school who look like oompa loompas always turned me off it, but Bondi Sands is seriously amazing, I'd recommend it to anyone.
Bondi Sands is not complete without a coat of Vaseline Intensive Care, Spray Moisturiser, Dry Skin Repair, it is definitely my holy grail moisturiser. I am probably the scaliest person alive, I despise moisturising. It's always been so time consuming and makes everything greasy and it just made me feel yuck. This is literally the best, I had no idea I'd ever love moisturising. It's a fine mist, so you pretty much spray is like a body spray and cover your body, give it a quick rub in and it's in your skin and you can't even feel it, yet - as the name suggests - it still gives you an 'intense' moisturise. A coat of this over your tan on a daily basis and your tan will never look better - not to mention last twice as long. Plus getting your back is made so easy, so its an A+ from me!
Batiste Dry Shampoo with 'a hint of colour, light & blonde', and my thin hair, is literally a match made in heaven. I have the thinnest hair, and a disgusting bald patch/ receding hair line, that with my blonde hair.... it isn't flattering. I have always hated dry shampoo, the powdery texture just turned my hair to straw, but for some reason this specific one which includes the colour, turns my hair to silk?! I don't get it, but I'm not arguing! I wash my hair almost daily, so I don't really need to use it for the intended purpose but it's like instant thickness and volume in a few sprays. The blonde colour helps cover my balding and best of all (I repeat) IT DOESN'T MAKE MY HAIR STRAWY!
I feel like you'd have to have my hair type and feel my pain to understand, but seriously over the moon with this product!
Lastly, I've added these shadows, by Models Prefer called Shadows (shocking). Now these probably won't be the best quality you'll ever buy, the pigment could be better with a few of the colours but overall for $10 each, which is insanely cheap, I'm very impressed. The brushes they come with are actually really nice, and majority of the colours are fine and pigmentation isn't an issue! Mostly I was disappointed in how light the cranberry colour ,'overachiever', was as I was expecting it to be deep and beautiful and perfect for a wedding I had. Saying that, the colours are build-able, so if you don't mind spending the time, you can probably get the colour you'd expect. I found these really good dupes for the Urban Decay, Naked palettes. In Australia, Chi Chi is another option for a dupe and while slightly better quality then the MP palettes, it is $22 each (from memory?) Then again, anything south of $30 is pretty cheap in my eyes especially for a relatively high quality eye shadow palette. If you don't have the $80 odd dollars for the Naked palettes, I'd definitely recommend these Model Prefer, Shadows palettes, or even the Chi Chi ones, which I've also tried and loved (future review??)
Lots of Love, ciao hunnys xx
